As a Veterinary Technician at Animal Care Clinic, you will support our veterinarians in providing exceptional healthcare to animals in Port Elizabeth. Your responsibilities will include assisting in surgeries, managing medical supplies, and educating clients about their pets' health needs. Responsibilities

  • Help perform dental cleanings and procedures
  • Assist in the administration of anesthesia and monitoring recovery
  • Provide compassionate care to all animals in our clinic
  • Enforce safety protocols to minimize risks to staff and patients
  • Document all treatments and procedures in electronic health records
  • Support team members in maintaining a positive and efficient clinic atmosphere
  • Participate in community outreach programs to promote pet health
  • Coordinate with external labs for further testing when necessary

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Veterinary Technology or a similar qualification
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Animal Health preferred
Experience
  • 1+ years of experience in a veterinary practice
