We are searching for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and students within the classroom, enhancing the learning experience for all.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the integration of technology into the classroom to enhance learning.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional help.
• Encourage a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes respect and learning.
• Help teachers with grading assignments and maintaining progress reports.
• Assist with the transition of students between classes and activities.
• Foster an inclusive environment for all students, recognizing and celebrating diversity.

Advantageous

• Knowledge of educational psychology: Understanding of basic educational psychology principles is a plus.
• Experience in after-school programs: Experience in after-school or extracurricular programs is beneficial.
