Job Description

Looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead our next major project in Cape Town. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage project timelines, budgets, and teams while ensuring compliance with safety and building regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of construction projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop project plans and scope of work in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Review and approve architectural and engineering designs.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients and project teams.
  • Address any project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Supervise the work of project teams and subcontractors.
  • Prepare progress reports for stakeholders and management.
  • Review financial reports to track project performance.
  • Negotiate changes to contracts with vendors or clients as necessary.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • Master's degree in Project Management is preferred

  • 8+ years of extensive experience in managing construction projects
