Job Description

We are in search of an E-commerce Account Manager to lead client relations in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key customer accounts, ensuring satisfaction, and driving sales growth. You will play a pivotal role in strategizing for account development and managing day-to-day communications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the management of client relationships and ensure delivery of quality service.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within client accounts.
  • Perform detailed account analysis and reporting on a regular basis.
  • Foster communication with clients to gauge satisfaction and gather feedback.
  • Coordinate with various departments to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
  • Proactively engage clients through regular check-ins and performance updates.
  • Develop account plans that align with sales targets and client objectives.
  • Monitor account health and develop strategies for improvement when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and best practices.
  • Mentor and train junior team members as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related fields
  • MBA is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in account management or sales within e-commerce
