Job Description

As a Public Health Officer, you will play an integral part in assessing community health needs and implementing interventions that foster health improvements. You will work closely with diverse community stakeholders to enhance public health initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead initiatives aimed at reducing health disparities in the community.
• Communicate effectively with diverse populations to promote healthy living.
• Assess the impact of health programs through ongoing evaluation and feedback.
• Coordinate volunteer efforts for community health events.
• Develop public health communication strategies to improve engagement.
• Maintain accurate records of program activities and outcomes.
• Foster community partnerships to enhance public health infrastructure.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field
• MPH or equivalent qualification is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in public health practices

Certifications

• Certified Public Health (CPH)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certified
