Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Field Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will conduct surveys in various locations, gather accurate data, and analyze results to support project development.

Responsibilities

• Perform field surveys to gather spatial data for construction and land development projects.
• Utilize various surveying tools and technology to ensure data accuracy.
• Create and update maps and diagrams based on collected survey data.
• Make recommendations based on analysis of survey data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project objectives and timelines.
• Conduct project site inspections to validate survey findings.
• Assist in the training of new survey staff.
• Prepare and present findings to stakeholders.
• Adapt to various field conditions while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Document all surveying activities and maintain precise records.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or related field

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in field surveying.

Certifications

• Professional Registration with the South African Geomatics Council (SAGC)

Languages

• English: Fluent
