Job Description

We are currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician in Bloemfontein to join our dynamic pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in dispensing medication, ensure accuracy in prescriptions, and provide exceptional customer service to patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions.
• Manage stock levels and engage in regular inventory audits.
• Communicate with healthcare professionals regarding patient needs.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and caregivers.
• Ensure all pharmacy operations adhere to health and safety standards.
• Participate in continuous training and development programs.
• Support outreach programs to enhance community health awareness.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Pharmacy
• Further studies in Pharmaceutical Sciences is a plus

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting

Technical Skills

• Pharmacy Software Proficiency
• Inventory Management

Certifications

• Pharmacy Technician Certification from South African Pharmacy Council

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Intermediate
