As a Cybersecurity Analyst in our Cape Town office, you will play a crucial role in our IT security landscape. This position requires strong analytical skills to assess threats and develop mitigation strategies, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events and alerts.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Develop security policies and procedures.
• Respond to security incidents and breaches.
• Evaluate new security technologies and tools.
• Provide security awareness training to staff.
• Prepare reports on security status and incidents.
• Collaborate with IT teams to secure networks and systems.
• Maintain documentation of security incidents and resolutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or similar
• Relevant certifications preferable (CISM, CRISC)

Experience

• 5+ years experience in cybersecurity roles
