As a Journeyman Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing wooden structures and fixtures. You'll work closely with project teams, ensuring high-quality outcomes while maintaining safety and efficiency on-site.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications.
Measure and mark cutting lines on materials for accurate installation.
Assemble and install custom furniture and cabinetry.
Ensure all work meets quality standards and client specifications.
Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion.
Conduct inspections for quality control and safety compliance.
Provide on-site training for apprentices and less experienced workers.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
Manage project timelines and meet deadlines.
Requirements
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Vocational training in Carpentry or Construction Management is an advantage

5+ years of carpentry experience with a focus on residential projects
