Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Description

We seek a proactive Cybersecurity Analyst who will help shape our cybersecurity strategies. You will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing our security network, identifying potential security breaches, and recommending improvements to our security architecture. You will also conduct incident response drills and support the training of staff on security awareness and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and report on key security metrics to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the organization’s security posture.
• Conduct security training sessions for employees, enhancing security best practices.
• Research and recommend cybersecurity tools and technologies to strengthen defenses.
• Coordinate with law enforcement in case of data breaches or cybercrimes.
• Perform regular security updates and patches on software and systems.
• Manage and fine-tune security tools to prevent and mitigate security incidents.
• Document security processes and procedures for compliance and audit purposes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Master's degree preferred but not mandatory

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on incident response and risk management
