We are seeking a Robotics Engineer to join our innovative team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and implementing robotic systems, focusing on mechanical engineering principles to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage the mechanical design process for robotic applications.
• Evaluate design options and select appropriate components for robotic systems.
• Provide insights on improving current robotic processes through automation.
• Prepare and present technical reports to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns in robotics and engineering principles.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in robotics engineering

• Robot Operating System (ROS)
• Machine Learning

Soft Skills

• Communication Skills
• Problem Solving

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PE)
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
