Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services such as washing, brushing, and styling pets of various breeds.
• Engage with customers to build strong relationships and provide grooming recommendations.
• Ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the grooming area.
• Monitor pet health and well-being during grooming sessions.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve service quality.
• Assist in training junior groomers and apprentices.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma
• Grooming school training preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of professional grooming experience

Technical Skills

• Animal Handling
• Grooming Equipment Proficiency

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Time Management

Certifications

• First Aid for Animals Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Sales skills for retail grooming products: Ability to recommend and sell grooming products to clients.
