We are looking for a detail-oriented Auditor to join our growing team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering insightful audit reports. Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail are essential as you contribute to maintaining the financial integrity of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute audit assignments from start to finish.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of financial controls.
• Document audit processes and maintain thorough records.
• Ensure timely completion of audits within deadlines.
• Collaborate with team members on audit strategies.
• Prepare and present findings clearly to various stakeholders.
• Conduct follow-up audits to ensure corrective actions.
• Continuously improve audit processes and methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Finance or Accounting

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Forensic Accounting
• Tax Compliance

Soft Skills

• Analytical Thinking
• Team Leadership

Certifications

• Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA)
• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Accounting Software: Familiarity with Sage, QuickBooks or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of Financial Regulations: Understanding of IFRS and GAAP standards as they apply to South Africa.
