Pharmacist

Job Description

Join our team at HealthFirst Pharmacy as a Pharmacist in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient consultations, and ensuring adherence to health regulations. We're looking for a dynamic professional who is passionate about patient care and has excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the pharmacy complies with all legal and professional standards.
• Provide leadership and guidance to pharmacy staff.
• Develop patient education materials and resources.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of medication therapies.
• Assist with the implementation of new pharmacy technologies.
• Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss pharmacy operations.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
• Collaborate with local healthcare facilities for patient referrals.
• Assist in marketing pharmacy services to the community.
• Document patient outcomes and report on pharmacy performance metrics.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Master's degree in Pharmacy or related field is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years in a clinical pharmacy setting is preferred
