Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Pharmacist to join our healthcare team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will dispense medications, provide information to patients, and ensure compliance with health regulations. A commitment to quality patient care is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a resource for drug information and medication management.
  • Evaluate prescriptions for potential drug interactions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all prescription orders.
  • Participate in patient education programs and health fairs.
  • Support pharmacy staff with training and development.
  • Implement safety protocols to minimize errors in dispensing.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from a recognised institution
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Pharmaceutical Sciences desirable
Experience
  • Experience in community pharmacy operations is a plus
