Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Tree Trimmer and Pruner to join our dynamic landscaping team. You will play a vital role in maintaining the beauty and health of trees and plants, ensuring they thrive within our clients' outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities

• Trim and shape vegetation according to client specifications.
• Ensure proper maintenance of trimming equipment and tools.
• Monitor and maintain the health of trees and plants during the trimming process.
• Provide training and support to junior team members.
• Engage with clients to understand their landscape needs and preferences.
• Contribute to landscape design ideas and enhancements.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
• Document work performed and report to the Horticulture Manager.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate
• Diploma in Horticulture or Landscaping desirable

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in tree trimming or landscaping roles

Technical Skills

• Chainsaw operation
• Hedge trimming

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Adaptability

Certifications

• First Aid Certification
• Chainsaw Safety Training

Languages

• English: Fluent
