Job Description

As a Legal Advisor in Johannesburg, you will be instrumental in providing top-notch legal advice to support our business operations. You will engage with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with legal standards while assessing potential risks and advising on contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate legal documents and contracts for potential risks.
• Establish relationships with stakeholders to promote legal understanding.
• Advocate for clients in legal and contractual negotiations.
• Coordinate with government agencies on regulatory matters.
• Provide legal guidance on employment law and workforce issues.
• Assist in litigation and settlement discussions as needed.
• Hard copy filing and electronic document management.
• Compile reports on legal risks and proposed actions.

Requirements

Education

• Admitted Attorney or Advocate
• Master's degree in Law is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in legal advising, particularly in commercial law
