Process Development Engineer

Job Description

Seeking a highly motivated Process Development Engineer to enhance our manufacturing processes. You will be tasked with developing and optimising processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and uphold quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement manufacturing processes that comply with industry standards.
• Evaluate existing processes and recommend improvements based on quantitative analysis.
• Collaborate effectively with different teams to enhance product quality and yield.
• Develop training materials and guidelines for manufacturing staff regarding new processes.
• Perform root cause analysis for process deviations and troubleshoot accordingly.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in process development within a manufacturing setting

• AutoCAD

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)

Languages

Advantageous

• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry: Background in processes within regulated environments such as FDA or ISO.
• Knowledge of SPC: Experience in Statistical Process Control methodologies will be beneficial.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies: Experience in applying Six Sigma techniques in process improvement.
