UX Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a creative UX Designer to join our Cape Town team. The ideal candidate will have an eye for design and a passion for creating user-friendly interfaces. You will be responsible for understanding user needs, conducting research, and designing products that ensure an optimal user experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing designs and suggest improvements based on user feedback.
• Facilitate workshops to define user requirements and priorities.
• Create and maintain documentation of design processes and user flows.
• Engage with customers to gather insights and improve product usability.
• Define key performance indicators for user experience improvements.
• Foster a collaborative environment with other team members.
• Explore new design methodologies and advocate for user-centered design.
• Plan and execute design sprints and rapid prototyping sessions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in User Experience Design or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years of UX/UI design experience

Technical Skills

• Sketch
• HTML/CSS

Soft Skills

• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Mobile UI Design: Hands-on experience designing mobile applications and responsive interfaces.
