We are seeking a dedicated Accountant to join our growing team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with experience in accounting principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations of accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations.
• Support the auditing process and provide necessary documentation.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable.
• Develop budgets and assist with financial planning.
• Analyze financial data and report on trends.
• Collaborate with other departments on financial matters.
• Provide recommendations for improving financial processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics
• Further qualification in Accounting preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis.

Certifications

• Management Accounting qualification (CIMA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
