We are seeking a highly motivated Investment Banker to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical background and a keen understanding of financial markets. Your primary responsibility will be to advise clients on investment strategies and manage their portfolios to optimize returns.

Responsibilities

• Lead client meetings to discuss investment performance and strategy updates.
• Perform due diligence on investment opportunities.
• Enhance existing client relationships by providing strategic advice.
• Track macroeconomic trends affecting investment performance.
• Work with analysts to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and projections.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field
• MBA is preferred

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in investment banking or corporate finance

Certifications

• CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Emerging Markets: Knowledge of and experience in investment opportunities within emerging markets.
• Fluency in another language: Fluency in a language relevant to client base like French or Portuguese is an asset.
