Job Description

As a Veterinary Surgeon at our clinic, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality medical care to pets. Your responsibilities will include performing surgeries, providing clinical care, and educating pet owners on health management. We are looking for someone who is not only skilled but also empathetic towards animals and their owners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead operational surgeries and manage post-operative care.
  • Develop treatment plans for sick and injured animals.
  • Engage with pet owners to discuss treatment options and procedures.
  • Supervise veterinary technicians performing clinical support tasks.
  • Contribute to the clinic’s continuous education and improvement efforts.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure the clinic is well-stocked.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations within the practice.
  • Record patient interactions and treatment plans accurately.
  • Foster a compassionate and supportive environment for animals and owners.
  • Participate in continuing education and skill development workshops.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Sciences
  • Additional qualifications such as a postgraduate diploma in Veterinary Surgery are advantageous.
Experience
  • 3-5 years of clinical experience in veterinary surgery

  • Anesthesia management

Certifications
  • Veterinary Specialist Certification in Surgery (Preferred)
Languages
  • English: Fluent
