Job Description

As an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing safety protocols, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Your expertise in chemical hygiene will contribute to fostering a safe working environment for our employees.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain comprehensive safety management systems.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops on safety awareness.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage emergency response procedures and incident reporting.
• Evaluate and improve safety equipment and signage.
• Facilitate safety committee meetings and document findings.
• Create and maintain a culture of safety within the organization.
• Ensure prompt reporting and corrective actions for safety violations.
• Collaborate with external agencies for safety audits and certifications.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health or Workforce Safety
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in occupational health and safety, particularly in the chemical industry.
