Ward Aide

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Ward Aide to support our healthcare team in providing quality care to patients. The Ward Aide will assist medical staff with daily activities and ensure a clean and organized ward environment.

Responsibilities

• Support nursing staff in daily patient care activities.
• Maintain hygiene standards in the ward.
• Assist patients with mobility and personal hygiene.
• Provide companionship to patients to enhance their emotional well-being.
• Ensure that the ward environment is safe and welcoming.
• Adhere to patient confidentiality and privacy regulations.
• Participate actively in team meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Further training or certification in healthcare is advantageous

Experience

• 1-2 years in a similar capacity, preferably in a hospital setting.
