We are seeking a dedicated Ward Aide to support our healthcare team in providing quality care to patients. The Ward Aide will assist medical staff with daily activities and ensure a clean and organized ward environment.
Responsibilities
Support nursing staff in daily patient care activities.
Maintain hygiene standards in the ward.
Assist patients with mobility and personal hygiene.
Provide companionship to patients to enhance their emotional well-being.
Ensure that the ward environment is safe and welcoming.
Adhere to patient confidentiality and privacy regulations.
Participate actively in team meetings and training sessions.
Requirements
Education
Grade 12 or equivalent
Further training or certification in healthcare is advantageous
Experience
1-2 years in a similar capacity, preferably in a hospital setting.
