We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software products. You will be responsible for designing test plans, conducting tests, and ensuring that our software meets the highest standards before deployment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the QA team to ensure adherence to testing methodologies.
• Participate in sprint planning and provide input on testing requirements.
• Support automation efforts by creating test scripts where possible.
• Train and mentor junior team members on testing best practices.
• Contribute to the QA knowledge base by documenting lessons learned.
• Provide quality metrics to support continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Certification in QA methodologies is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a QA role

Technical Skills

• Performance Testing Tools
• API Testing

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Communication Skills

Certifications

• Certified Software Tester (CSTE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with performance testing: Hands-on experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge of security testing: Familiarity with security testing tools and practices.
