Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physiotherapist to join our team at Allied Health Therapies in Nelson Mandela Bay. In this role, you'll deliver tailored rehabilitation programs for patients recovering from injuries and surgeries, promoting mobility and overall well-being. You'll be key in assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and tracking progress to enhance recovery outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document patients' needs and treatment outcomes.
• Design and execute treatment plans that optimise recovery.
• Engage in patient education and training to promote adherence to exercise programs.
• Implement interventions based on evidence-based practice.
• Work closely with physicians and other therapists to provide integrated care.
• Manage patient expectations and provide emotional support.
• Conduct community outreach programs to raise awareness about physiotherapy.
• Stay updated on latest physiotherapy practices and innovations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in physiotherapy practice.

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Intermediate
