Environmental Consultant

Job Description

As an Environmental Consultant, you will be instrumental in helping clients navigate complex environmental regulations and implementing effective strategies for sustainability. This role requires a strong understanding of environmental science, policy, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform ecological assessments to evaluate biodiversity and ecosystem health.
• Develop strategies for mitigating environmental risks and impacts.
• Monitor and report on environmental performance indicators.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on sustainability initiatives.
• Provide assessments and recommendations for waste management practices.
• Research and analyze environmental regulations and policies.
• Prepare project proposals and presentations for clients.
• Conduct workshop trainings on environmental awareness and sustainability.
• Assist clients in obtaining environmental permits and approvals.
• Support the development of corporate sustainability programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, or similar discipline
• A Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of practical experience in environmental consulting or a related role
