HR Generalist

Job Description

Looking for an HR Generalist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. This role involves a variety of HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, and performance management. The ideal candidate will have a passion for enhancing employee engagement and a solid understanding of HR practices.

Responsibilities

• Implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Work closely with management to assist in talent acquisition.
• Manage disciplinary and grievance procedures.
• Conduct research on HR best practices and recommend improvements.
• Oversee the maintenance of employee attendance and leave records.
• Coordinate employee recognition and reward programs.
• Assist in annual performance appraisals.
• Report on HR metrics and provide insights to management.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee queries regarding HR policies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
• Postgraduate degree or additional HR certifications are preferable

Experience

• 5+ years of solid HR experience in a dynamic environment
