Job Description

As a Public Health Specialist, you will play an essential role in designing and implementing community health strategies, conducting health assessments, and working to improve health services delivery. Your expertise will help shape the health landscape in Sandton.

Responsibilities

• Assess community health needs and create intervention strategies.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions for community health workers.
• Collaborate with academic institutions for research projects.

• Manage budgets for health initiatives and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
• Compile and submit grant proposals for project funding.
• Provide health statistics and updates to local government authorities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences
• Master's degree in Public Health is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in public health or community health roles
