The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mechanical design principles and hands-on experience with CAD software. Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from conception through to completion.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers for material selection.
• Analyze project data and performance metrics to inform design decisions.
• Develop prototypes and conduct practical evaluations.
• Maintain and improve design reliability and efficiency.
• Document all engineering designs and processes accurately.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree in related field is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Prototyping

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)
