Job Description

As a Financial Analyst at our Johannesburg branch, you will be pivotal in driving financial decision-making. Your role will encompass analyzing financial data, preparing reports for management, and supporting the budgeting process. A proactive approach and strong analytical skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough analysis of financial results with a focus on profitability and performance.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports for internal stakeholders.
• Participate in the annual budgeting process and provide insights during quarterly reviews.
• Implement financial best practices and advocate for adherence to compliance policies.
• Support investment decisions by evaluating ROI and other financial metrics.
• Collaborate with accounting teams to reconcile accounts and manage discrepancies.
• Engage in regular financial forecasting to project future financial performance.
• Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial success.
• Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain documentation for audits and ensure all financial records are kept up to date.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration
• Professional qualifications such as CFA or CIMA are advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis or business finance
