Financial Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst for our Cape Town office. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing financial performance, preparing budget forecasts, and supporting various departments with financial analysis and insights that drive informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in the budgeting process by compiling financial forecasts.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions.
• Work alongside department heads to support their financial needs.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Present financial findings to senior management and stakeholders.
• Identify areas for cost reduction and process improvements.
• Support the Finance Manager in day-to-day financial operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Relevant certifications (CFA, CPA) are advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis or a related field
