As a Logistics Manager, you will be at the forefront of our logistics operations in Cape Town. Your main responsibility will be to oversee and enhance our supply chain strategies, ensuring the timely and efficient distribution of goods. We are seeking a proactive leader who can effectively manage inventory, coordinate logistics teams, and implement best practices to optimize operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute logistics strategies to maximize operational efficiency.
• Supervise inventory levels and order fulfillment processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective supply chain management.
• Negotiate with vendors and transporters to secure favorable contracts.
• Implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess logistics performance.
• Prepare reports for senior management on logistics performance and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards in logistics operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field
• Master's degree in a related area is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive logistics experience
