Warehouse Manager

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our operations in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of warehouse management systems, logistics, and supply chain processes. You will play a key role in optimizing warehouse performance and ensuring efficient inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize warehouse operations to meet customer demands.
• Ensure proper stock rotation and inventory control.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
• Foster a culture of teamwork and accountability among staff.
• Collaborate with procurement to manage inventory replenishments.
• Evaluate warehouse performance and provide strategic recommendations.
• Prepare and manage the warehouse budget and expenses.
• Assist in the recruitment and training of warehouse personnel.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Certifications in Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred

Experience

• 6+ years of progressive experience in warehouse operations

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Forklift Operator Certification: Certification to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
