We are seeking a skilled Legal Counsel in Johannesburg to provide expert legal advice and support to our organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate law and be adept at navigating legal complexities, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the organization's compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Draft policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
• Manage relationships with external legal advisors.
• Provide training sessions on legal issues to staff.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify legal vulnerabilities.
• Support business development with legal insights.

Requirements

Education

• LLB or equivalent legal qualification
• Specialization in Labour Law is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the legal field with an emphasis on corporate law
