Compliance Officer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Compliance Officer to enhance our team in Cape Town. You will play a vital role in ensuring our operations adhere to legal standards and internal policies, providing support in the development, implementation, and monitoring of compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement compliance training programs for new hires.
• Conduct compliance audits and produce reports on findings.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure compliance awareness.
• Research and analyze the impact of regulatory changes on business operations.
• Provide ongoing support for compliance monitoring systems.
• Develop compliance metrics and track performance against them.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law or Compliance Management
• Certifications such as CCEP or similar are a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in compliance or regulatory affairs

Technical Skills

• Compliance Software Proficiency
• Data Analysis

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Project Management

Certifications

• Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP)
• ISO 37001 Lead Implementer

Languages

• English: Fluent
