Pharmacist

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacist in Durban to provide exceptional pharmaceutical care. You will dispense medications, monitor patient health, and offer advice on medication management. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Manage medication inventories and coordinate with suppliers.
• Implement drug utilization review processes.
• Support clinical trials and research initiatives within the pharmacy.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Pharmacy preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in clinical pharmacy

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy setting: Experience working in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Certification in Immunization Delivery: Certification to provide immunizations and vaccinations.
