Responsibilities
Decorate and finish a variety of pastries, ensuring high presentation standards.
Design creative decorations and toppings that appeal to customers.
Work with the culinary team to refine and perfect pastry recipes.
Assist with inventory management and the ordering of materials.
Train junior staff on best practices for pastry finishing.
Participate in regular team meetings to discuss production goals.
Help maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.
Conduct taste tests and quality checks for finished products.
Research new pastry trends and techniques to enhance offerings.
Collaborate with marketing on promotional pastry displays.
Requirements
Education
Grade 12 or equivalent.
A pastry qualification would be preferred.
Experience
2-5 years of experience in a bakery or pastry shop.
