Job Description

We are in search of a skilled Circular Saw-Edge Fuser to join our talented team. This role involves operating circular saws and edge fusion machines to create precision cuts and join wooden pieces according to specifications. A strong background in carpentry and an eye for detail are essential for this position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilise measuring tools like tape measures and squares to achieve precision.
• Perform quality checks on the final products to meet company standards.
• Assist in training new employees on equipment operation and safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless production.
• Maintain inventory of materials and notify management of low stock.
• Document production process and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Further education in Carpentry or Woodworking is preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in woodworking or similar tasks

Technical Skills

• Measuring Tools
• Blueprint Interpretation
