We are in search of a driven and analytical Investment Banker to join our Johannesburg team. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of financial markets and investment strategies, working closely with clients to deliver tailored financial solutions. This role demands strong quantitative skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, while continuously pushing the boundaries of client engagement and service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on structuring complex financial transactions to maximize investment returns.
• Conduct research and financial modeling to support investment recommendations.
• Build robust financial models and forecasts for various investment scenarios.
• Deliver exceptional client service while managing multiple client accounts and transactions.
• Analyze and interpret accounting and financial reports for relevant investment decisions.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all investments meet regulatory requirements.
• Engage with potential investors and present strategies through formal presentations and discussions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial markets and investment products.
• Work closely with senior management and assist in the development of the firm's strategic goals.
• Support junior analysts and interns in financial modeling and market analysis.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in investment banking or related financial services
