We are seeking a skilled Pet Groomer to join our growing team in East London. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, exceptional grooming skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. You will be responsible for grooming pets of all sizes and breeds, ensuring they look their best.

Responsibilities

• Perform full grooming services, including nail trimming and ear cleaning.
• Ensure all pets are treated with patience and care during grooming.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners about services provided.
• Manage stock levels of grooming supplies and products.
• Attend training sessions for skill improvement and product knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Certification in Animal Care or Grooming is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in grooming or pet care

Technical Skills

• Grooming equipment proficiency
• First aid knowledge

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Pet First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certified in Animal Behavior Training: Special training in recognizing and understanding different pet behaviors.
• Experience in retail pet product sales: Familiarity with pet care products and their proper usage.
