Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pharmacist to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy practices, exceptional patient care skills, and a commitment to enhancing the health and well-being of our community. You will play a critical role in advising patients on medication usage, managing prescriptions, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate dispensing of medications based on prescriptions.
  • Assist patients in understanding their medication regimens.
  • Monitor the impact of medications and improve patient outcomes.
  • Address patient inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Implement health promotion and disease prevention strategies.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on pharmacy practices.
  • Train and mentor pharmacy staff and interns.
  • Assist in the development of pharmacy policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience as a Pharmacist in a retail or hospital setting
