You will play a critical role in advising patients on medication usage, managing prescriptions, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide expert advice to patients on medication utilization and side effects.
  • Conduct medication reviews and patient consultations.
  • Maintain compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering and restocking medications.
  • Educate patients on health issues and preventive care.
  • Participate in community health initiatives and wellness programs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience as a Pharmacist in a retail or hospital setting
