Job Description

We are searching for a skilled Barrel Raiser to oversee the management and raising of barrels within our production facility. This role requires exceptional physical capabilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to following safety protocols. The ideal candidate will work closely with our engineering and production teams to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of barrels to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Oversee the arrangement and secure stacking of barrels in the facility.
• Monitor air quality and other environmental factors affecting barrel storage.
• Facilitate the loading process, ensuring safe handling practices.
• Document all barrel movements in accordance with company procedures.
• Keep the barrel storage area clean and well-organized.
• Safely operate and maintain relevant machinery for barrel raising.
• Report malfunctioning equipment and propose solutions proactively.
• Adhere to established safety measures and participate in training.
• Work alongside team members to meet daily production goals.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required but experience will be considered.

Experience

• Experience in a similar role is an advantage but not mandatory

Technical Skills

• Forklift operation
• Health and safety knowledge

Languages

• English: Fluent
