Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Technician to join our engineering team in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for conducting repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems. This is a hands-on role that requires a keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of mechanical equipment to ensure safety.
• Collaborate with design teams on mechanical upgrades and modifications.
• Implement improvements for machinery efficiency.
• Assist in quality control and compliance documentation.
• Develop and maintain maintenance schedules and workflows.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
• Bachelor's Degree preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years in a mechanical technician role or related field.

• Hydraulics and Pneumatics
• CAD Software

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CNC Machines: Hands-on experience with CNC machining and programming.
