Site Construction Manager

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Site Construction Manager to lead our engineering teams in Cape Town. In this role, you will manage construction operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the entire construction process, ensuring projects meet deadlines and budgets.
• Establish and uphold safety protocols and procedures, conducting regular safety audits.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to upper management.
• Assist in estimating costs and preparing project proposals.
• Foster good working relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with all legal requirements and building codes.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the construction team.
• Manage personnel issues and team performance on-site.
• Contribute to final project documentation and handover processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in site management or construction supervision

Certifications

• Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
• First Aid and CPR Certified

Languages

• English: Fluent
