We are looking for a passionate Urban Planner to join our team. You will assist in the planning, design, and implementation of urban development projects that contribute to Pretoria's sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement urban planning projects that align with local regulations.
• Utilize GIS and urban modeling software for effective planning.
• Advise on zoning regulations and land-use policies.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to discuss planning initiatives with the public.
• Conduct research on urban trends and demographic changes.
• Assist with budget management for urban planning projects.
• Track progress and deliverables of projects to ensure timelines are met.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Geography, or a related field
• Master's degree in Urban Planning preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in urban planning or related field

• GIS Software

Certifications

• Professional Planner Certification (PPC)

Languages

• English: Fluent
