Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Surveyor to join our expanding team in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Experience with modern surveying equipment and software is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead surveying projects from conception to completion.
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of survey output.
• Mentor junior surveyors and interns.
• Implement innovative surveying techniques and technologies.
• Facilitate training sessions on surveying software and equipment.
• Engage with clients to clarify project requirements.
• Coordinate with local authorities on surveying regulations.
• Prepare bids and proposal documents for new projects.
• Review and approve survey documentation.
• Contribute to the development of best practices in surveying.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Geomatics or a related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the surveying field

• Land Surveying Techniques

Certifications

• Professional Surveyor Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
