Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Urban Planning Consultant to lead various urban development projects in Durban. You will be responsible for assessing land use, developing zoning regulations, and ensuring sustainable growth in urban areas.

Responsibilities

• Create urban design guidelines that promote sustainable development.
• Monitor project implementation and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Utilize GIS software for mapping and planning purposes.
• Research best practices in urban planning and integrate them into projects.
• Assess community needs and tailor urban policies accordingly.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies, Geography, or related field
• Master's degree in Urban Planning is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in urban planning and consultancy
