Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee construction projects in Durban. The successful candidate will manage project timelines, budgets, and teams, ensuring successful project delivery. You will be the key liaison between stakeholders, contractors, and clients, driving projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate construction activities and project timelines.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, cost, and schedule.
• Ensure quality control throughout the construction process.
• Liaise with clients and external subcontractors to achieve project goals.
• Monitor project performance and implement improvements as needed.
• Conduct risk assessments and manage accordingly.
• Prepare progress reports and ensure documentation is accurate.
• Supervise onsite staff and provide leadership and guidance.
• Manage procurement of materials and equipment.
• Coordinate with local authorities to ensure compliance with regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Project Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience managing construction projects
