Job Description

We are seeking skilled Home Economists to guide clients in managing home economics related to food preparation and nutrition. Responsible for conducting research, developing recipes, and providing nutritional guidance to enhance the health and wellbeing of the community.

Responsibilities

  • Lead community workshops and seminars on nutrition and food preparation.
  • Research and implement effective food education methodologies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to promote healthy eating.
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of educational programs.
  • Develop impactful content for social media and community outreach.
  • Establish partnerships with local organizations to expand educational outreach.
  • Advise on food preservation techniques and sustainable practices.
  • Support food literacy initiatives within schools and community centres.
  • Manage community surveys to understand dietary needs.
  • Ensure nutritional compliance in all program offerings.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Home Economics, Food Science, or related field
  • Master's degree in a related field is advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in home economics or related roles
